How excited are you about this? As an organisation, that is not our goal. We are more concerned about how much of repeat businesses we get from our existing clients.
What is the market share and mind share of Cognizant? What are the new markets that we need to penetrate? So our focus is to be number one in the minds of our customers. Our focus is also on our employees who have been delivering very well. It is because of them our customers have infused trust and confidence in Cognizant. Number one or two does not matter. Focusing on the business is more important. You have seen a decline in attrition. What are the reasons?
We have had one of the lowest attritions in January-March quarter. There are several reasons for that. In , we announced record number of promotions and doled out good incentives for employees. We have always believed when you have robust growth, you also need to have a very good rewards and recognition program. And that is very well appreciated by all our associates internally and this has really helped in sort of curbing attrition.

You have started a new model on consulting in recent years. Has the model borne fruit? Consulting has been a big differentiator in the market place. The investments that we have made in building up our consulting capabilities has been a big help for Cognizant. But neither can remain insulated from market conditions if demand for IT services and outsourcing tapers down. But analysts and experts feel they are unlikely to change their strategies at least for the next years.
